We were engaged by Moreland City Council to redesign an existing children’s centre in Coburg to create new play spaces, administration areas and compliant facilities. The design consists of natural and earthy aesthetics with contrasting saturated colours to reflect the playful nature of the childcare centre.

Construction commenced in December 2015, and the existing building has been partially retained to minimise wastage and to maintain the operation of the Centre during construction. The design incorporates high-level clerestory windows to maximise natural light and provide ample cross ventilation for passive mechanical systems.
